Our Founder: Carlos A. Ausejo, E.A.

Carlos A. Ausejo is an Enrolled Agent licensed by the Internal Revenue Service since 1983.

A proud San Francisco State University graduate (B.A., 1970), Carlos began his career as an Auditor for the Department of Corporations for the State of California, where he worked for 11 years before pursuing his dream of entrepreneurship.

In 1980, he opened his first tax office in San Francisco, serving the Excelsior community with personalized tax and bookkeeping services. Over the years, his commitment to client care and accuracy earned the trust of generations of families and local businesses.

Hugo has been a cornerstone of our firm since the late 1980s, bringing over three decades of experience and dedication to our clients and team. Entirely self-taught, Hugo has built his expertise through an unwavering commitment to staying current with evolving tax laws and accounting standards. Over the years, he has managed more than 80 client accounts, earning a reputation for accuracy, consistency, and trusted guidance.

Today, Hugo continues to serve as a mentor and advisor to our next generation of accountants, sharing his deep institutional knowledge and passion for client service. His long-standing relationship with our firm reflects not only his professionalism but also his genuine care for the clients and families we serve.

Today, the firm continues under the leadership of Carlos Ausejo Jr., an Enrolled Agent licensed by the Internal Revenue Service since 2017, who shares the same deep commitment to excellence and community.

A graduate of San José State University, Carlos Jr. brings a modern approach to tax strategy and financial management, combining the firm’s long-standing values with contemporary tools and technology to best serve our clients in today’s ever-changing financial landscape.
